The rove skill gives Codex or Claude Code control of a connected phone. Your coding agent is the autopilot, with Roveflow providing the device tools and workflow.

What it does

1

Checks your phone

Runs a readiness check, starts setup if needed, and guides any phone-side approval before continuing.
2

Opens the app and explores

It looks at each screen, decides where to tap next, and moves through the app like a real person, capturing and naming each screen as it goes.
3

Builds the Atlas

It writes the map (journeys.json), then builds atlas.html with a video per flow.

Steering it

Tell Codex or Claude Code what to do in plain English:
The more specific you are about the journeys you care about, the better the map. Claude Code also exposes the installed skill as /roveflow:rove. Codex can use it directly from an ordinary request.

Good to know

  • It taps things by their on-screen label when it can, so the map survives small layout changes.
  • It stays safe: it won’t log out, delete data, or buy anything.
  • Prefer to drive yourself? You can tap through the app by hand and have Roveflow capture each screen instead, same Atlas at the end.
